Search the Bixby Residents Directory

A name, an address, or an old Bixby street reference can point to different public records. Start with the county parcel trail when an address is known, then compare a voter record or a dated directory listing when the question is about a person. The Bixby residents directory is most useful when each result is kept in context: an owner is not always an occupant, a mailing address is not always a situs address, and a missing record can reflect a protected or restricted file. County lines matter here, so confirm the parcel before choosing a records office.

Finding Bixby Residents by County

Bixby crosses both Tulsa County and Wagoner County, so the first question is not a name. It is the parcel’s county. A Bixby mailing address can sit outside the incorporated city or on the other side of the county line. Confirm the situs address, then use the relevant GIS layer and parcel record. INCOG’s Bixby corporate-limit layer is a useful Tulsa-side locator, while Wagoner uses its own public GIS. Recorded plats and deeds control the legal description.

INCOG’s Bixby corporate-limit service provides the source for this current spatial-reference capture.

The layer helps route Tulsa-side Bixby work, but it does not replace the recorded deed or plat that establishes a legal description.

Each record answers a narrower question. The assessor can identify a parcel and its owner field. A voter record can indicate registration information. A county-clerk index can identify parties to a recorded instrument. A library directory can show that someone was listed at an address in a publication year. None alone proves that every person at an address lives there now.

  1. Confirm the complete address and locate its parcel and county.
  2. Use the applicable assessor search for the parcel, owner field, and legal description.
  3. Carry the parcel number into the county clerk’s deed or plat index.
  4. Use the Oklahoma voter service only with the required identifying information and its stated limits.
  5. For an older household, compare dated directories, newspapers, maps, and county instruments.

Note: Postal city names, ZIP codes, mailing addresses, and legal county fields can disagree, so save the parcel route before treating a search result as local.

Bixby Resident Record Keepers

Most Bixby resident trails begin with three keepers. The Tulsa County Assessor and the Wagoner County property route organize property data. County clerks keep recorded instruments such as deeds, plats, liens, easements, and releases. The Oklahoma State Election Board runs the individual voter portal and handles regulated voter-list requests. Bixby’s city offices add permits, police records, open-records requests, and municipal citations, but they do not replace county records.

Bixby Parcel Search Fields

The Tulsa Assessor search box accepts an address, account, subdivision, or owner. Its own help says less is more. Punctuation can make a query too narrow, and the result grid includes column-level filters. An account is an R-number that identifies the assessment account; a parcel ID identifies the mapped property. A situs address is the property location, while a mailing address is where the assessor sends mail.

OwnerNames the assessed owner, not a verified current occupant.
AccountSupplies an R-number that can bridge to other county records.
SubdivisionHelps locate a lot and block within a platted area.

The Tulsa Assessor search screen is shown below. Its autocomplete and search modes make it a practical starting point when the address is on the Tulsa County side.

Use the resulting card to record the account number, parcel ID, legal description, owner field, and situs separately before moving to a deed search.

Bixby Parcels Lead to Deeds

A property card is a lead, not a title opinion. On the Tulsa side, Acclaim’s parcel search offers parcel number matching, document type, and date controls. The research found a registered-account and fee-based layer. County procurement material places the online name index at 1928-current and the legal-description index at 1987-current. Older work may require the historical camera, microfilm, a clerk request, or library research.

Read a deed trail one event at a time. The grantor conveys or releases an interest. The grantee receives an interest. An instrument number is the stable retrieval key, and the recording date can differ from the date signed. Compare legal descriptions, not just street labels. A deed, mortgage, release, lien, easement, plat, and sheriff’s deed have different meanings.

Tulsa Acclaim’s parcel-search screen provides the official source for this parcel-to-clerk capture.

On the Wagoner side, the county clerk is the keeper for the same instrument categories and lists certified copies at $2 per page, with land-record filing hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

Bixby Voter Record Boundaries

The Oklahoma Voter Portal uses first name, last name, and date of birth. Official instructions say to enter the name as registered. A voter card can contain name, address, political affiliation, and polling place, but state guidance says voter records do not include race, gender, or ethnicity. The research environment received a 403 when fetching the portal, which is a capture limitation rather than proof that ordinary access is unavailable.

The portal screenshot shows the three-field lookup surface and its voter-service menu. Do not publish dates of birth or use a voter response as conclusive proof of a person’s current residence.

Broader voter registration and history records are available through VIRS/EDW only under the agency’s request and permitted-use rules. Readily available electronic records have no fee, paper copies are listed at $0.25 per page, and the agency is not required to create custom reports.

Bixby Current Resident Sources

There is no one current roll for all Bixby residents. Official sources track different relationships. Property data follows a parcel, the voter system follows registration, the recorder follows an instrument, and city or association material may only identify an administrative contact. The table separates those roles so an owner, listed voter, grantor, and neighbor are not flattened into the same claim.

When the goal is one identified person rather than an address, the Bixby resident lookup route distinguishes voter, court, vital, and state-record limits. A commercial people-finder category may merge stale data and hide its source dates; official records make the keeper and access limits visible.

Bixby Court Lookup Routes

The Bixby Municipal Court portal is a local citation and payment lookup, not a complete county court search. Its visible paths include citation number with date of birth, driver license with state and date of birth, SSN with date of birth, vehicle information, name with date of birth, and business name. Court office hours shown by the portal are 8:00 to 4:30 Monday through Friday.

For a district-court lead, route the case by county and court. OSCN serves OSCN counties, while other counties use ODCR. The research could not inspect detailed OSCN party-name fields because Turnstile blocked it, so no undocumented field list should be assumed.

The municipal search page is captured here to show why a specific identifier is needed. It should never be used to assemble private identifiers or to imply a complete county record.

A useful result inventory preserves court, case or citation number, case type, date, party role, disposition, and any stated redaction or access limit.

Bixby Protected Address Limits

Some gaps are intentional. Oklahoma’s Address Confidentiality Program can provide eligible participants a substitute post-office address and can remove name and address information from public voter lists under program rules. A substituted or missing address is not evidence that a person moved, failed to register, or gave false information. Researchers must not try to reverse a protected address.

Bixby Historical Resident Listings

For past households, Tulsa City-County Library is the connective institution. Its Central Research Library holds Tulsa city directories for 1928, 1929, 1930, 1931, 1932, 1939, 1940, 1941, and 1948. The library also makes 1909–1935 Tulsa directories available through Ancestry Library Edition at library locations, and it has digitized 1910, 1920, 1921, and 1922 volumes for remote access. Those collections can contain address, occupation, business, and advertisement material.

The Genealogy Resource Center at Hardesty Regional Library adds microfilm, maps, atlases, surname files, obituary help, and in-library resources. Broad microfilm research is in person; staff do not conduct research. The dedicated Bixby city directory page explains how to read editions and trace a household without treating a listing as continuous residence proof.

Bixby Bulletin Record Gaps

The digitized Bixby Bulletin collection is a strong historical lead, but it is not a continuous newspaper run. It reports 393 online items and 2,602 pages from 11 years. The located years cluster from 1911 through 1925, with gaps. A missing year in the online set does not prove the paper did not publish or that a person was absent from Bixby.

The official sample issue below is dated December 11, 1925 and was digitized from 35mm microfilm. Its 2025 addition date is the online-availability date, not the event date. That distinction matters when pairing a dated listing with later digitization metadata.

Ask the library or Oklahoma Historical Society about microfilm or physical copies for a missing Bixby year, then preserve a separate source date when recording a historic newspaper result.

Bixby Records Request Channels

When no online index exists, use the custodian’s own request route. Bixby’s general Open Records Request page accepts online, in-person, and mail submissions to the City Clerk at PO Box 70, 116 W. Needles Avenue. The form asks for a specific record description and title or date rows, and it says generic requests cannot be accepted. Bixby’s general form lists $0.25 per page, $1 per certified copy, $5 for media, and $20 per hour for search.

Police records use a separate department form and a different displayed $10 per hour search fee. Tulsa County also publishes an Open Records Act workflow. Both operate under the Oklahoma Open Records Act, Title 51 O.S. §24A.1 et seq., subject to confidentiality and security exceptions. Name the county, parcel, case or citation, date range, document type, and whether inspection or copies are wanted.

Note: Keep the request confirmation, fee quote, responsive-record list, and redaction explanation, because a portal no-result is not the same as a custodian finding no responsive record.

Bixby ZIPs Need Parcel Checks

ZIP codes are postal delivery geographies, not city or county boundaries. The research did not locate a complete official Bixby ZIP-to-county and city crosswalk, so a complete local ZIP list should not be invented. Verify a complete address through the USPS ZIP Code Lookup, then compare it to the assessor situs and GIS parcel. ZIP+4 can improve delivery precision, but it does not replace a legal description.

The official ODOT and city maps provide useful context for Bixby’s city and county relationship. They do not turn a mailing label into a jurisdiction finding. Population figures from Census QuickFacts describe the city, not a resident roster or a ZIP boundary.

Bixby Deed Scam Checks

Use the county clerk directly for an unexpected deed, mortgage, lien, or property-record notice. The Oklahoma Real Estate Commission’s 2026 deed-fraud notice identifies those events as warning signs. Wagoner County Clerk also warns about a false Conveyance Transfer Services letter seeking $86 for a deed copy while listing certified copies at $2 per page. A Bixby address on the Wagoner side should use the Wagoner County Clerk, not an unsolicited mailing.

The same care applies to unclaimed-property leads. Oklahoma’s official Treasurer search is free, and the FTC cautions that unexpected claims of funds or requests for up-front fees can be scam signals. Confirm the office, the parcel county, and the record date before paying for any copy or service.

The Oklahoma Treasurer’s Unclaimed Property program directs searchers to its free official name search. A result can identify a claimant lead, last-known address, property type or holder information, and a claim process. It is not a current-address confirmation or a statement about a bank balance. Save the claim number and source date, then use the state process rather than a caller’s link. An accepted claim requires proof of a valid interest and may take time for review.
